Doctor Cell Phone Sucks

If you are searching for a review or reference on Dr. Cell Phone out of Dallas, Texas, you have come to the right place. I give Doctor Cell Phone a failing grade when it comes to quality work and customer service. Oh, they have a pretty website and all, but that and $1.75 will get you a cup of coffee at Starbucks.

I sent my Palm Treo in to Doctor Cell Phone to be repaired a couple weeks ago. It was not charging. The part of the phone where the charging plug is inserted was damaged or loose and a proper charging connection could not be made. Dr Cell Phone called me up and said they could fix it for $64.99 plus shipping and tax. Sounded like a good deal considering the phone cost me $500.00.

After I paid them and got the phone back it charged up once and then quit again. I sent the phone back and a couple days later I received a call from Dr. Cell Phone. The "technician" asked me why I had sent it back and I told him about the charging problem again. He told me it was probably my charger that was bad. Well, I told him I had three chargers and asked him what the odds were of all three chargers going bad at the same time. Of course his answer was "well, it works perfectly now". I realized right then that I had just been taken for more than $80.00. They sent the phone back by Fedex Ground - to a Post Office Box. The phone was eventually delivered to the wrong address.

I would not recommend using Dr. Cell Phone. Based on my experience with Doctor Cell Phone the chances are pretty good that you will just be throwing your money away. I think they are liars and cheats and will say anything to get your money.

I have since bought a new phone and am paying the $7.00 monthly insurance for it now. I hope that doesn't turn out to be a scam too.
